Sunday's Post

Our JV team made the trip to Alden yesterday. Results are available here.

It looks like a few of our closest competitors made the journey to the Albany area for the Burnt Hills Invitational at Saratoga Springs Park. Complete results are available here. Several teams that are state-ranked in Class AA or Class A were in the Varsity 3 races. On the boys side, the top 10 with average time and last week's ranking:
1 Arlington 15:49.47 (AA #10)
2 Burnt Hills 15:52.76 (A #1)
3 Queensbury 16:05.69 (A #5)
4 Niskayuna 16:24.13 (AA #20)
5 Guilderland 16:27.30 (NR)
6 Brockport 16:26.24 (NR)
7 Hilton 16:29.38 (AA #22)
8 Victor 16:30.09 (A #10)
9 Bethlehem 16:36.55 (NR)
10 Monroe-Woodbury 16:39.71 (AA #24)

For the girls:
1 Burnt Hills 18:33.87 (A #2)
2 Greenwich 18:58.09 (C! #1)
3 Queensbury 18:43.07 (A #1)
4 North Shore 18:59.87 (A #5)
5 Arlington 19:00.67 (AA #5)
6 Guilderland 19:05.20 (AA #11)
7 Shaker 19:21.50 (AA #17)
8 Lincoln-Sudbury 19:28.23 (NR - Mass.)
9 Holy Names 19:23.26 (A #8)
10 Columbia 19:34.60 (NR)
11 Hilton 19:43.24
15 Victor 20:17.78
17 Brockport 20:34.67

These results indicate that Tuesday's meet with Hilton should be very interesting. And of course we still remember that the Thomas boys edged us by 0.15 seconds per man (and 11 points) at McQuaid, and their girls got us by 0.47 seconds per person (although we did beat them in the team scoring).
