Thursday's Workout

It's the time of season where we need to differentiate among the different distance specialties. I think Coach Klehr will have separate workouts, with target time ranges, by individual, for each of the three groups (800m, 1600m, 3200m).

For example, Nate did 4 x 1000m today, at about 3200m race pace. And Zach (currently a miler) did 4 x 600m, at about 1600m race pace. The 800m guys can expect 5 x 300m at 800m race pace (or quicker).

Each of these workouts should provide that late race feeling, on the later repetitions, even with pretty much full recovery between each one. Maintaining race pace on those later reps will train your body to do the same in a race.
