Meaghan's 5k

So, JP pumps everyone up for a 5K race on Saturday, and then pulls a no-show. Well, even without JP, who, rumor has it, was sick, the Webster Distance Runners put on a good showing. Nico coasted thru the first half of the race, then moved up to 3rd by the finish, Chris was 5th and Whitty was just outside the top 10. Ashley and Johnny P were also seen out on the race course. The biggest surprise was a potential future Webster Distance Runner, Jack, a young 6th-grader, who ran 24:04 in his 5K debut. Pretty much all of his training was done on the ice, since he plays on Zach's hockey team.
