It was mostly good news for those on the bubble (or even some of those who thought they missed the bubble). When the final scratches were posted last night for the State Qualifier meet at Waterloo HS, it appears the following Webster Schroeder tracksters are competing:
Pentathlon - Adam and Nick
Steeplechase - Val and Julia
HH - Deaven
3000 - Amanda and Natalie
800 - Conor
4 x 800 - Katie, Claire, Julia, Amanda, Alyssa, Val
4 x 400 - Val, Emma, Colleen, Alex, Alyssa, Julia
High Jump - Sarah (and Becca, if they take 11 instead of 5), Colton
Pole Vault - Deaven
Long Jump - Alex
Triple Jump - Alex, Jimmy
Shot Put - Bam
We also had some near misses, with Julia rising to 9th in the 800, Katie to 10th in the 1500 and Claire to 10th in the 3000.
The final program should be posted on the Section V Track web site in the near future.
