Some newspaper coverage that is worth sharing...
Val was the lead story in Sunday's D&C article on the Monroe County Track & Field Championships.
And the Webster Post has a nice photo of Val leaving the water pit in the Steeplechase.
The County meet went quite well for the distance runners. PRs or SBs were achieved by Val, Julia and Jacob in the Steeplechases, Katie in the 1500, Natalie and Claire in the 3000, John, Zach, Alex and Ben in the 3200, and Conor in the 800.
This followed closely on the heels of Thursday's JV Championships, where PRs / SBs were achieved by Tori in the 1500; Liz, Katie, Elif and Cheyenne in the 800; Brian, Ray in the 1500; Kevin, Andrew Helbig, Dice, Adam, Noah, Marshall, and Nick in the boys 800. A very nice way to end the season!
