OK, the D&C's high school sports headline wasn't completely wrong, but it was certainly not sending the correct message. Perhaps it was some sort of April Fools joke. Technically, since the boys events were first, the boys meet ended first and Penfield "christened their new track", with a 74-67 loss to Schroeder. I'd also like to know who is this "Kevin Sprailing" guy, that apparently beat Twombly and Brycen Spratling in the 100 and Brycen in the Long Jump. This meant that Brycen got no ink for his victory in the 200, in a very fast time.
The distance crew put in a very nice performance, outscoring Penfield, 24-8, including an impressive sweep in the 800. And clinching the meet with the dominating win in the 4 x 800 relay I'll add the rest of the splits later, but for now, here are the 4x800 relay times, since I had to fly out before many saw the splits.

I had to leave quickly, as yesterday was officially proclaimed "MIT day in Rochester" by Mayor Duffy, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the MIT club of Rochester!
