So, we had our "bye" week this week, meaning a second week in a row with no dual meet. That should have us hungry for our next race. And the races will come fast and furious after today. As I pointed out at practice last week, the JV workout count is rapidly declining; indeed, because of the meet schedule, after today's workout, there will only be one JV workout left! That isn't to say we won't throw in a small bonus session or two...
Anyway, before we get to our "two dual meet" week (I still don't understand why the R-H meet was postponed, given that their baseball team managed to play a home game to completion that same afternoon), we have the Brighton Relays on Friday (and the JV Relays at Gates for many of you). I looked back at last year's results (available here), and here is what I see:
4x1600 (we should be faster than these times):
Brighton 19:11.4
McQuaid 19:30
800 (Schroeder sub-2s this time?):
David Geary 1:57.4
Brian Dinan 1:58.7
AJ Nasello 2:00:0
Kevin Richard 2:00.5
Ryan Vanzo 2:00.9
DMR (this should be achievable):
Brighton 11:56.0
Hilton 12:03.1
2x3200 (tough race):
McQuaid 20:11.8 (10:05, 10:06)
Brighton 20:21.3 (10:02, 10:18)
4x800 (end of the night):
Brighton 8:35.0
Arcadia 8:47.8
Results do not seem to be online from the last time we competed as a team (in 2008).
