OK, yes, I'm about a week behind, but track practice started last Monday for the captains and rookies and Tuesday for the veterans. The distance team got off to a good start, with decent attendance and a couple of good workouts. Notably missing were some musical performers, tennis and lacrosse players and someone who may have been off celebrating his 18th birthday.
Today's weather report says there is a chance of hitting 60 degrees on this glorious St. Patrick's Day, so we will be making our 2009 debut on the Thomas track for today's workout.
Remember, our scrimmage is just 9 days away, and the first meet is two weeks from tomorrow.
